Erika Galiette, 25, began her career in dance at the age of 4 where she fell in love with ballet at her local dance studio. She continued to pursue her ballet training with the University of Louisville Dance Academy, 17 years, and with the Youth Performing Arts High School, 2007-2010. She also attended the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts program in 2008, which recognizes talented artists in various art forms throughout the state of Kentucky and provides these artists with a 3 week summer intensive to hone in on their skills. She has been blessed to have had tremendous opportunities to dance leading roles with the University of Louisville Dance Theatre and Youth Performing Arts School which have included the leading roles in Paquita, The Nutcracker and various contemporary ballets. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville Business School with a degree in Business Marketing and currently works in Corporate Sponsorship for the Cincinnati Reds. She is thrilled to be beginning her dance teaching career with The Dance Coalition and looks forward to shaping the training and education of Cincinnati's next future dance stars!
